Pocket watch attributed to Mikhail Semyonovich Bronnikov, 19th century Birch wood and bone, Breguet-style hands, painted Arabic numeral hour markers, small seconds at 6 o’clock, fluted bezel. Made entirely of wood with the exception of the mainspring, balance spring and pivots. Carved birch wood chain. Diameter 4.4 cm. Damage to the hinge and the chain. Provenance: a Neuchâtel collection assembled between 1980 and 2010.
