Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, known as Le Corbusier (1887–1965) Two figures, gouache, ink and collage, monogrammed and dated 32-59, 49x66 cm. Labels on the reverse: Basel, Galerie Beyeler no. 6185; Basel, Galerie Daniel Blaise Thorens; Madrid, Galeria Unquanzo. Provenance: private Swiss collection. (same collection as lot 210). The Le Corbusier Foundation, contacted in July 2026, is unable to comment on the authenticity of this work. The Foundation can only guarantee the authenticity of a work in two specific cases: either the work in question was at some point part of its collections, or the archives bequeathed by Le Corbusier enable its history to be reconstructed. This work falls into neither of these two categories.
