Formerly attributed to Ferdinand Hodler (1853–1918) Roses in a Landscape, oil on canvas, signed, 31 × 23 cm. Provenance: Pierre Strinati Collection. The painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity dated 1941 and signed by Berthe Hodler, the artist’s widow. Despite this, the painting is not recognised by the Swiss Institute for Art Research (SIK ISEA).
