An engraved bronze incense burner with a brown patina; the body is decorated with Chinese characters against a geometric background, dragon-shaped handles and a lid surmounted by a samurai in armour trampling a chimera, resting on a tripod base, itself set on a circular plinth. Mark on the reverse of the bowl. Meiji period (1868–1912). Missing parts.
