Box set – a toiletries set in rosewood veneer, inlaid with a brass escutcheon engraved with an ‘F’, opening via a lid featuring an internal mirror, and two drawers with a spring-loaded mechanism. It contains various bone accessories (brushes) and numerous glass bottles with silver-plated metal lids. An invoice from an English antique dealer dated 1965 (Elizabeth Antiques) is included. 19th-century English work. Cracks in the veneer; key missing; signs of wear and some damage.
