ART DÉCO BROOCH
Diamonds, sapphires and emeralds
A geometric Art Deco-style brooch in platinum, featuring an openwork design of lines and Greek motifs set with
old-cut and eight-eight-cut diamonds, enhanced with calibrated sapphires and emeralds. The top forms a band with a herringbone pattern; the lower section, which opens, once housed a pocket watch.
Formerly a pocket watch: the movement and dial are missing. The piece has been altered and is sold as is. None
of the stones have been tested.
French craftsmanship, platinum setting; dog’s head hallmark.
Circa 1925–1930.
Height: 5.5 cm — Width: 3.1 cm — Gross weight: 17 g.
