A set comprising a gilded lacquered wooden figure depicting a Bodhisattva standing on a lotus-shaped plinth, in front of a finely crafted gilded wooden mandorla decorated with a relief design of clouds and partially openwork with a floral medallion, the deity appearing serene, eyes half-closed, mouth forming a faint smile. Also included is a gilded wooden butsudan which opens to reveal a seated Amitayus.
