A domed band ring in 18-carat white gold (750 ‰) and platinum, centred on a large diamond flanked by two old-cut diamonds, set within a lavish setting of old-cut diamonds, navette-cut diamonds and navette-cut sapphires arranged in alternation. Openwork setting.
The centre diamond: a rectangular step-cut diamond; dimensions 7.61 × 7.23 × 4.44 mm; weight 2.03 ct; colour J; clarity VS2; very strong fluorescence; no indication of treatment. Comment: additional facets (report from the French Gemmological Laboratory No. 426401 dated 15 June 2026).
French craftsmanship, mixed setting of 18-carat white gold (750 ‰) and platinum; hallmarks: eagle’s head (gold) and dog’s head (platinum). Master’s hallmark of the goldsmith and jeweller René Dieu (initials RD, symbol of two ears of wheat), 35 Rue Oberkampf, Paris, engraved on 28 January 1933. Circa 1945–1950.
