Silver lidded jug (or coffee pot), with a plain baluster-shaped body resting on a moulded, stepped pedestal; the spout decorated with an acanthus leaf; the domed, hinged lid crowned with a flamed scroll; the handle with scrollwork and leaf-shaped fastenings, fitted with two ivory insulators. Louis XV style.
Fine silver (950 ‰); Minerva hallmark. Silversmith: Maison Keller, Paris.
