A chest of drawers known as a ‘Mazarin’, made of olive and rosewood veneer, embellished with end grain.
It rests on bevelled legs which end, at the bottom, in corbels. The front features four drawers and is adorned with a rich geometric marquetry design, comprising interlacing patterns, circles and lozenges, which extends harmoniously across the top, sides and front.
It is fitted with drooping bronze handles.
