Description
Curved sewing box, moiré veneer, with four ball-shaped feet.
The upper storage tray, resting on a music box in need of restoration, features two chiselled round plates for winding thread, a small fold-out nail kit containing three nail picks and a cuticle pusher, a needle holder (with a small, invisible crack inside), a second needle holder with its screw-fastened parts, and a pair of highly ornate scissors.
All crafted from highly ornate mother-of-pearl with gold detailing on certain items; the inner tray is embroidered with flowers in the corners. Mirror with piping.
Lid to be screwed back on using the existing hinges, with a lock but no key.
