Our sculpture in volume is fully in keeping with the themes of modernist decorative ceramics of the 1920s-1930s, characterised by motifs inspired by nature - fruit, figures or landscapes - combined with stylised, geometric shapes and bright, glazed colours. Some of Madeleine Sougez's work for Primavera is inspired by biblical themes (the Flight into Egypt).
These ceramics are produced by Ateliers d'Alsace in Soufflenheim.
