HOLOPHANE SA, ball lamp in prismatic glass table lamp, base on castors, pewter cover. A former street light in Paris, from the mid-1920s SA Holophane played a leading role in French public lighting. The prismatic moulded glass globe uses the principle of light diffraction. Circa 1950 H: 60cm D : 50cm (minor damage to the glass can be seen in the photo)
