DALI. RONSARD (Pierre de). The loves of Cassandra. Paris, Argillet, 1968. In-folio, leaves, cover decorated with an embossed composition, publisher's illustrated mustard green cloth folder and slipcase (gilt illustration for the slipcase, gilt signature of Dali for the folder).
First edition decorated with 18 original drypoint and ruby-engraved copperplates by Salvador Dali, including 10 hors-texte in black AND a suite of the 10 hors-texte, making a total of 28 original drypoints by Dali. Edition of 299 copies bearing Dali's autograph signature and the publisher's stamp with Dali's imprint. One of 75 on tinted Arches (No. 117). Each plate bears the artist's drypoint stamp.
