GARREAU Rare pair of silver torches from the Empire period. Four-sided shaft, each surmounted by a mascaron/flora. Circular base with a large frieze of swans and flowers on an amatized background. Marks of 1st title (.950) and of guarantee for PARIS 1809-19. Hallmarks of the Association of Goldsmiths. Marks of the master goldsmith: GARREAU, received in 1817. Height : 28,4 cm. Weight : 923 grammes.
