A large 8vo volume, paperback with an illustrated cloth-bound cover, in a modern cardboard slipcase and jacket. A fine Art Deco edition of this text, first published in 1919. It is illustrated with 15 colour drypoint engravings by Yan-Bernard Dyl, hand-coloured by Tabary, as well as numerous vignettes within the text and bistre decorations. A numbered edition limited to 500 copies; this one is one of 384 copies dedicated to Annam.
