One in-12 volume, full brown morocco, spine with five raised bands bearing the initials APLV at the foot of the spine, repeated at the corners of the covers, gilt head, original illustrated front cover preserved. 310 pp., (1) f. First edition illustrated with 7 etchings by Feyen-Perrin, Lalanne, Martial, E. Morin and Beyle, and 14 woodcut vignettes by Morin and E.D. One of the rare copies on China paper (no. 6). Double bookplate: ‘Nunouam Amicorum’ and Emile Levavasseur.
