Description
LOTI (Pierre). *Mon frère Yves*. Paris: Le Livre Contemporain, 1927. One in-4 volume, in modern half-chagrin with corner pieces; covers and spine preserved. Some fading on the covers and slight fading on the engravings; otherwise a fine copy. First illustrated edition, featuring 133 original woodcuts designed and engraved by Renefer. Printed in a run of 121 copies, all on Arches vellum. This copy is inscribed to the printer Robert Coulouma and includes the menu, an additional proof signed and dated by Renefer, a facsimile of an autograph folio from Yves Kermadec’s manuscript, and a facsimile of an autograph letter signed by his brother to Pierre Loti, from the Louis Barthou collection.
