An 8vo volume, in full brown morocco, smooth spine embossed with three vertical fillets, the covers framed by six gilt fillets interspersed at the centre of each side with mosaic-patterned beige morocco half-diamonds, gilt edges, cover and spine preserved (binding signed J. ANTHOINE LEGRAIN). First edition. One of 46 copies on Van Gelder Holland paper, this one being one of the 25 printed specially for the ‘Vingt-Cinq du Cercle Lyonnais’. A very fine copy in a binding signed by Jacques Anthoine Legrain.
