[LOUIS XV / THE BASTILLE] - Order issued by King Louis XV to Monsieur de Launay, captain and governor of the Bastille, to have the cannons fired at the Château de la Bastille to mark the public celebrations organised to commemorate the capture of the town of Philippsburg during the Wars of the Polish Succession. Done at Versailles on 22 July 1734. Signed Louis (secretary), countersigned Phélipeaux. 1 sheet of paper, 34x23 cm. A few ink stains on the right-hand margin.
