[LOIR-ET-CHER] – 1 full archive box containing documents on parchment and paper relating to the Loir-et-Cher department, and in particular the towns and villages of Blois, Lisles, Lorges, Mennetou, Montdoubleau, Montlivault, Villerbon, Villebaron, Vendôme, etc. Approximately 150 documents, each accompanied by a descriptive sheet (15th–20th centuries).
Of note: the will of Jean de Clédier, a burgher of Lisle (25 July 1563); a file concerning Odet Lochon, Lord of La Cassotière and adviser to the King; a genealogical dossier compiled by d’Hozier to establish the nobility of the Thomas family, which belonged to Robert Thomas de Moncourt, lieutenant in the 7th Chasseurs regiment in Vendôme.
