[ESSONNE / ARCHIVES] - 1 collection of archives on paper and parchment relating to the department of Essonne and, in particular, the towns and villages of Fleury, Juvisy, Lardy, Limours, Longjumeau, Milly-la-Forêt, Montlhéry, Morsang-sur-Orge, etc. (15th–19th centuries). Approximately 160 documents, each with its own descriptive record. Of note: a deed of partition of property in Étampes (parchment notebook, 12 pages, 21 May 1571); the file concerning the estate and funeral expenses of Madame Vaquier, widow of Jean-Baptiste Vaquier, former councillor to the Grand Council (early 19th century); a deed of sale for two hovels in Étréchy (1488); a ruling by the King’s Privy Council in response to a petition by François de Goutault, Lord of Bouron and Moigny (parchment notebook, 4 pages, 16 January 1654), etc.
