[VICHY REGIME / RADIO-PARIS] – A superb, complete and well-preserved collection of 21 editorials by Philippe Henriot broadcast on Radio-Paris (16–27 June 1944). The last editorial dates from 27 June, the day before he was assassinated in Paris on Rue de Solférino by a military action commando unit of the Resistance. Philippe Henriot (1889–1944) was a French politician who collaborated with the Nazis. A broadcaster on Radio-Paris, he joined the militia in 1943 and became Secretary of State for Information and Propaganda in the Laval government.
