Description
[ACTION DIRECTE / NATHALIE MÉNIGON] – A famous poster produced by the Action Directe movement whilst Nathalie Ménigon was in prison (1980–1981). Nathalie Ménigon and her accomplice Jean-Marc Rouillan were arrested on 13 September 1980. Following his election in 1981, François Mitterrand pushed through an amnesty law which led to Jean-Marc Rouillan’s release. Accused of attempted murder of law enforcement officers, Nathalie Ménigon was not released until September 1981, following a hunger strike.
