PAULETTE EXPERT (1912–2001) Invitation to Travel, watercolour and gouache, SBD c. 1960–65, 68x52 cm (image size), Studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, where she was awarded first prize for printmaking in 1933. She became a teacher in the state education system and taught at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux from 1956 to 1976. She worked in painting, watercolour and pastel, but above all in printmaking. Featured in the retrospective at the Musée des Beaux-Arts: “Elles sortent de leur(s) réserve(s)” in 2022/23
