AVIATION - ACCIDENTAL MAIL - AIR FRANCE FLIGHT - Mail departing Cote d'Ivoire for Bois Colombes / Seine - DEWOITINE 338 aircraft, Pilot Henri GUY departing from the Moroccan stopover - "on 23 March 1938 the mail plane hit a rock on the Cinq Croix peak / Canigou / Pyrenees 1 km from the Las Indis iron mines. The plane crashed at an altitude of 2,400 metres, about ten metres from the summit. After its fall, the plane did a half turn on itself and rolled into the "Ravin de la prison" precipice.
