Letter dated 14 August 1953 issued on the occasion of the philatelic exhibition commemorating the 10th anniversary of the issue of the Saumur perforated stamp 14 August 1943 in aid of prisoners of war.
RECTO with 4 franc postage label + Béarn coat of arms stamp no. 901.
VERSO: 2 stamps of the Chamber of Commerce, printed on blue, perforated in line: 5 francs and 15 francs (Maury 4 & 6) - the stamps are cancelled by the Republic stamp of the bailiff GUICHARD of Saumur. -This numbered letter also bears a copy of his report on the P.T.T. and S.N.C.F. strikes and copies of various stamps used during the events.
