SILVER - "CHEMIN de FER DU CENTRE", Law of 26 July 1844. ( * ) Allegorical group symbolising the Saône / Loire rail link: a woman with open arms, a caduceus in her right hand and a sprig of ivy in the other, each resting on the crowned coats of arms of LYON and LOIRE (without the names in the cartouche below). A smoking locomotive pulls away on either side - Composition signed BOVY in the cartouche of the exergue. Reverse: title in the centre of an oak and olive wreath. Octagonal token 36.5 mm. 23.10 grams - on the edge silver hallmarks and indicator hand - L/A n° 2273 - TTB ( * ) created in 1844, operates the line from Orléans to Limoges and Clermont Ferrand via Vierzon, Bourges, Châteauroux, Nevers .... Managed by François Bertholoni, who was already president of the Chemin de Fer de Paris à Orléans. This company disappeared in 1852 when it merged with Paris-Orléans.
