A substantial CHEST OF DRAWERS in moulded and carved walnut, with three drawers. The curved front is carved with a lattice pattern and features a shell motif in the centre. The side panels are carved with a cascade of flowers, resting on arched legs with foliage motifs. A 19th-century regional piece, in the 18th-century Rocaille style. Bronze fittings; handles with floral decoration, Rocaille-style lock plates. 83 x 132 x 67 cm. Restored. Locks missing. Woodworm holes. Some damage to the edges of the drawers.
