Description
Saint Alphonsus Liguori, Visits to the Blessed Sacrament and to the Blessed Virgin for every day of the month, Arabic edition printed in Beirut, 1890.
A printed volume of 334 pages, with 12 lines of text per page in black ink. Two title pages, the first giving the place and date of printing in Beirut in 1890 and adorned with a medallion bearing the monogram IHS. An illustration of Our Lady of Sorrows at the foot of the cross concludes the volume.
Black leather binding with an embossed design of foliage scrolls surrounding a diamond-shaped medallion. A note in pencil at the end of the volume indicates that it formerly belonged to ‘A. Jaubert’.

Some foxing, stains and water stains; the binding is damaged, showing heavy wear and some losses.
