DAUM Nancy & attributed to Louis MAJORELLE (1859–1926)
Four-light pendant light comprising a large central bowl and three tulip-shaped shades decorated with poplar leaves. Forged iron frame with a patina finish.
The bowl and tulip shades are made of multi-layered cameo glass, etched with brown and sea-green patterns on an orange and purple marbled background.
The metal parts feature a decoration inspired by thistle leaves.
Each glass piece is signed ‘DAUM Nancy’ with the Cross of Lorraine engraved in acid-etched cameo.
D. central bowl: 44 cm. H. tulips: 15 cm. H. suspension: approx. 88 cm. L. from tulip to tulip: approx. 65 cm (a tiny chip on the rim of one tulip and beneath the attachment on another).
