BAROMETER-THERMOMETER made of moulded wood, lacquered in green and gold, decorated with garlands of foliage, two facing goat’s heads and ribbon bows. The hand-painted markings and dial are signed ‘Margot optician, Rue Saint Paul, after Torricelli, 1760’.
