Set of books comprising: - WORLD MAP in two hemispheres, showing recent discoveries. Compiled by Maire, geographer. Paris: Langlumé and Peltier, 1842, 68 x 55 cm. Mounted on cardboard. Minor losses at the fold. - PALISSOT. Works of M. Palissot, reader to His Serene Highness the Duke of Orléans. New, revised and corrected edition. Paris: Imprimerie de Monsieur, 1788, 4 volumes in-8, tobacco-coloured half-calf, plain spine with blind-stamped decoration (bound c. 1820). Fine printing on heavy paper. Minor wear to the spine. - MILTON. Paradise Lost. Translated by Jacques Delille. Paris, Giguet and Michaud, 1805–XIII, 3 volumes, large 8vo, fawn calfskin, plain spine with embossing, Greek fretwork framing on the covers (contemporary binding). An elegant edition featuring a frontispiece in each volume. A few scuffs on the covers; foxing in volume 3. A fine copy. - RÉGNIER. Satires and Other Works, accompanied by historical notes. A new, considerably expanded edition. London: Jacob Tonson, 1733, in-4, light-coloured calfskin, decorated ribbed spine, gilt fillets framing the text, corner fleurons, gilt edges (contemporary binding). Engraved frontispiece after Natoire. A fine print, the text framed by a braided border printed in red. Spines slightly rubbed with a slight tear. The last quires are browned. [PHOTOS – NORTH AFRICA]. Mixed album comprising 6 fine photographs of everyday life. The other photographs reproduce paintings held in Florence and include blank pages. Green half-shagreen binding with corner pieces. - In six cardboard boxes, Annals of the National Assembly, 19th century. Copies not collated, as is. [BEAUHARNAIS (Fanny de)]. *Les Amans d’autrefois*, by the Countess de B ***. Paris: Couturier, 1787, 3 in-12 volumes, in brown half-basane with corner pieces, ribbed spine (contemporary binding).
