14 by 19 cm. (4)-289 pages. Red half-shagreen, spine with 4 raised bands, decorated panels. Spine slightly darkened, two small scuffs to the leather with no loss. Covers intact. Minor paper loss on the preserved cover. Good condition inside.
A copy with an added bonus.
Bound within is a 4-page handwritten letter from the author, recounting his stay at La Clarté, near Perros-Guirec. He is enthusiastic about Brittany… The letter was no doubt addressed to his friend Georges de LYS.
A poem by Georges de LYS, copied out by himself, spanning 5 pages. This is the poem read by Mrs Moreno at the unveiling of Vicaire’s bust at La Clarté in 1902 (Vicaire died in 1900).
