Description
An interesting violin featuring fine fittings, with an apocryphal ‘Laberte Humbert Frères’ label, ‘Grand Prix’ at the 1910 Brussels International Exhibition. In fact, a violin made by Thibouville Lamy; the inversion needs reviewing; there is a small patch of varnish under the fingerboard; and there are suspicious black marks near the sound holes. In good overall condition. (REFERENCE 3) Expert: Michel WINTHROP.
