Jean-Léon REUTTER for KIRBY BEARD & Co, Paris
Exceptional and rare Atmos cage clock in chocolate brown bevelled mirror glass, presenting a square dial with railway track, Arabic numerals and applied hour markers, protected by smoked glass. Apparent balance wheel under the 6 o'clock index.
Pink gilt brass base incorporating the locking lever; advance and delay adjustment system by means of a thumbwheel on the back. Perpetual movement patented by Reutter.
Height: 25 cm, width: 20 cm, depth: 13 cm
Condition: slight oxidation to the dial and some pitting to the mirrors. The clock did not work when examined; a complete overhaul is required.
