TUNISIA Silver (800 parts per thousand) badge of Grand Officer of the Order of Nichan al Iftikhar (founded in 1837), depicting a radiant sun with a diamond-pointed border. The central medallion, with translucent green enamel, bears the cipher of Ahmed II Bey (1929–1942). Fastened with a swivel pin and two side hooks. ‘Black head’ hallmark for 800-th silver, used for small items from 18 July 1905 onwards by the Tunis office. Diameter: 8.5 cm – Gross weight: 105 g In its original shaped case. In very fine condition.
