Marcel WANDERS (1963) “VIP” armchair, 2000 Steel, foam and grey woollen fabric Bearing a label from the 2000 World Expo 80 x 68 x 58 Stains and signs of wear This VIP Chair was designed for the VIP lounge of the Netherlands Pavilion at the EXPO 2000 World Exhibition, held in Hanover (Germany). The label on armchair no. 13 states that it was designed by Marcel Wanders and Karin Krautgartner, and produced by DF Industrial. It also includes acknowledgements to Johan de Wilde, as well as to Rosalinda Lourens for the 44 special colours developed for this project.
