Shigeyoshi KOYAMA (born 1940) The Blue Nude Gouache on crumpled paper, signed and dated ‘83’ in the bottom right-hand corner. Traces of restoration (?). 41.5 x 34.5 cm Born in 1940 in Osaka, Shigeyoshi KOYAMA began his career as a painter in Tokyo. In 1970, he undertook a trip to Paris. From there, he travelled around Europe before arriving in Cadaqués. It was in Salvador Dalí’s village that he decided to establish his career, blending Mediterranean visions with Japanese techniques.
