18th-century Flemish wood marquetry
An urn-shaped jar made of marquetry in various colours (ebony, lemonwood, cherry), whose vertically assembled and curved strips are held together by two circular copper rings, one at the top and the other at the bottom of the pot. It rests on three small bone feet. The lid is also domed, featuring a narrow band of marquetry and a prominent black handle.
