Tobacco jar
Barbotine, late 19th–early 20th century
A round jar, resting on four feet, with a relief decoration of white flowers and green leaves against a light brown marbled background. The interior of the jar is glazed in a beautiful cherry colour. On the lid, two white roses with their leaves surround a fréthel consisting of a curved tree branch.
Unmarked but, like pots 107 and 109, most likely produced by the Wasmuel factory in Belgium.
Part of the lower section is missing and there is a large chip.
