MICHADU (Born in 1971) "I’m relaxing" Double-sided polychrome sculpture in metal and mixed media. Height: 60 cm Michadu is a French artist based in Ploezal, in the Côtes d’Armor region of Brittany, where he has been practising his art since 2005. A self-taught sculptor inspired by his many travels, Michadu has been creating sculptures for around ten years, with iron being his material of choice. He explores metal with natural ease and simplicity, and above all with the energy of an imaginary gladiator. Michadu’s sculptures, which are inevitably monumental, challenge us, unsettle us and often highlight the absurdity of existence.
