WARHOL Andy (1928–1987) Screen-printed and signed 500 Argentine peso banknote. With a postmark dated 10 February 1987 and a certificate of authenticity. In a transparent acrylic frame. Height: 12.7 cm x Width: 17.8 cm Work produced and catalogued by the American gallery Tony Shafrazi and Lucio Amelio’s gallery, from whose collection it originates. A postmark appears on the banknote because Andy Warhol submitted these works to the US Post Office to authenticate the date of their creation.
