A chiselled and gilded bronze clock depicting a seated young woman breastfeeding a cupid, or ‘Love Nourished by Hope’; the plinth is decorated with a bas-relief of putti playing with a dog and passing a folded message.
White enamelled porcelain dial, with Roman numerals painted in black for the hours, a railway-track minute scale, and two winding squares bearing the inscription ‘A Paris’.
