A set of six CHAIRS in moulded, openwork and carved wood, with a straight backrest decorated with volutes, acanthus leaves and a central flower; the trapezoidal seat is caned; the turned wooden base features ‘baluster’ motifs with a front crossbar and is joined by an ‘H’-shaped brace. Henri II style. One chair is of a very slightly different design. Another chair of the same model is included (in very poor condition). Approx. 99.5 x 46 x 42 cm. (Signs of use and wear, damage, dents, restoration).
