Description
Tourism - Adelin Charles Morel de Tanguy (1857-1930) - Saint Raphaël, Valescure, Boulouris, Agay, Antheor, Le Trayas. Circa 1920. Printer Lucien Serre, Paris. 99.8x62.5cm. Original poster, lithograph, canvas-backed. Condition A-, two tiny tears in the lower margin. The poster also promotes a number of villages in the Var on the Côte d'Azur, including Antheor, which appealed so much to Louis Valtat that he had a villa built there (Roucas Rou). At the time of our poster, Valtat, Cross, Marquet, Camoin and Manguin were all working there...
