This composition by one of the masters of the Art Deco poster is perfect in several ways: The L-shaped composition is pushed to the extreme limits of the exercise, the simplification of the characters on board the convertible coach marked: Route des Alpes et du Littoral is virtuoso, and finally the very avant-garde typography is brilliantly integrated into the image to the point of blending in with the elements of the landscape.
