Tourism - Léon Gambier (1917-2007) - Dieppe sur la plage, on the beach, Miniature golf course. Circa 1958. 53x36.2cm. Original poster, offset, canvas (mounted on tab). Condition B+, lower margin restored over 1cm except on the signature. It's worth noting that in 1897 the English founded the oldest golf course in Normandy, from which players could enjoy an exceptional view of the Alabaster coast. So it was only natural that a few years later a mini-golf course was opened, which is still in operation today. The Seine Maritime seaside resort has retained its links with the English, as the bilingual poster shows.
