Tourism - Alain Cornic (1920-?) - French Equatorial Africa. Circa 1950. Printer Raidot, Paris. 117,5x77cm. Original poster, lithograph, canvas covered. Condition A-, small tears. AEF (Afrique-Équatoriale Française) was the name given to the general government created in 1910 to bring together in a federation the four French territories of equatorial Africa: Gabon, Moyen-Congo (now Congo-Brazzaville), Oubangui-Chari (now the Central African Republic) and Chad. In the style of Lucien Boucher, the artist presents a map of the AEF, surrounded by treasures of primitive art.
