As well as being a tourist poster, this image tells the whole story of the spa town. From the Calvary that gave rise to the idea of a spa town, to the grape-growing and wine-production that used to support the farmers. Situated in the heart of the Puy de Dôme, the town is in the immediate vicinity of Riom in the Auvergne. The poster also features the still-visible ruins of Tournoël.
